India cricketers Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma have made an investment in solar solutions provider TRUZON Solar, the company announced, as it looks to expand its presence in India’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
TRUZON Solar operates under Suntek Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. and said the investment highlights the increasing interest of investors in India’s clean energy ecosystem and the growing role solar energy plays in the country’s sustainable development.
Charugundla Bhavani Suresh, Founder and Managing Director of TRUZON Solar, said the investment represents strong confidence in the company’s long-term strategy and its role in supporting India’s transition toward renewable energy.
The participation of leading athletes in the company also reflects the rising awareness among public figures about sustainability and the importance of supporting technologies that contribute to environmental responsibility.
“TRUZON Solar has completed more than 17 years in the solar energy industry, and throughout this journey our primary focus has been on delivering reliable solar solutions while maintaining one of the strongest after-sales service networks in the sector,” said Charugundla Bhavani Suresh.
“The decision by Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma to invest in our company reflects their trust in our vision and the credibility we have built in the renewable energy space,” he added.
According to Suresh, the company plans to accelerate solar adoption while strengthening its service-driven business model to support customers across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
“Solar energy today represents both an environmental responsibility and a national opportunity. At TRUZON Solar, our mission is to accelerate the adoption of clean energy solutions while continuing to build a trusted, service-driven solar brand from India,” he said.
TRUZON Solar also noted that legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is already an investor in the company, while actor Mahesh Babu serves as its brand ambassador.
The company currently operates across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh and plans to expand into Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Odisha as part of its next phase of growth.
TRUZON Solar employs more than 580 professionals and works with over 82 channel partners and service centres across its network. The company supports solar installations for residential homes, commercial establishments, and large industrial facilities.
Through its parent entity Suntek Energy Systems, the company said it has contributed significantly to solar adoption in India by focusing on engineering expertise, project execution excellence, and strong after-sales support.
As India continues to accelerate its renewable energy goals, investments from influential personalities and growing market demand are expected to further strengthen the country’s solar ecosystem.
